Santiago Liebana, from the BCT commercial team, attended the event visiting the <b>Equilibrium<\/b>, stand \u2014 a company working alongside BCT to develop the <b>German market<\/b> \u2014 where Heinrich Wilhelm represented <b>RootDei Biocontrol\u00ae<\/b> on behalf of Biocontrol Technologies throughout the three-day event.  <\/p>\n<p>DLG Feldtage brings together more than 20,000 European agricultural professionals every two years, with a program focused on crop protection, fertilization and field agricultural technology. This year&#8217;s edition, built around the theme \u00abPflanzenbau out of the Box\u00bb, placed particular emphasis on innovative and sustainable solutions for the major strategic crops of central Europe, among which potato (<i>Solanum tuberosum<\/i>) holds a priority position. <\/p>\n<p> RootDei Biocontrol\u00ae: <\/p>\n<h2>Biological protection of the root system in potato<\/h2>\n<p>The primary soil-borne fungal pathogen affecting potato cultivation is <i>Rhizoctonia solani<\/i>, responsible for <i>black scurf<\/i> and stem and <i>stolon canke<\/i>r, with direct impact on crop yield and commercial quality. To address this phytosanitary pressure, <a href=\"https:\/\/euc-word-edit.officeapps.live.com\/rootdei-biocontrol\/\">RootDei Biocontrol\u00ae<\/a> (Reg. no. BVL 00A933-00) offers a biological solution formulated with <i>Trichoderma asperellum<\/i> strain T34, a beneficial fungus that acts through multiple modes of action directly targeting the pathogen while also delivering positive effects on the crop root system.  <\/p>\n<p>With a single in-furrow application at sowing, RootDei Biocontrol\u00ae protects the crop throughout its entire cycle and contributes to improving both the quality and number of marketable tubers.
