Biocontrol Technologies participates in the DLG Feldtage Fair in Germany

Members of Biocontrol Technologies, a Catalan biotechnological company specialising in developing, producing and commercialising biological solutions for pest and disease control in agriculture, attended the DLF Feldtage fair on 11 and 12 June.

The team, comprising Isabel Llano and Carles Soler, travelled to Germany to gain deeper insights into the agricultural and phytosanitary sector of the country and to promote RootDei Biocontrol®.

During their visit, they explored the Brockhof region and engaged in various planned activities, including demonstrations of trials showcased at the fair and meetings with key companies in the agricultural sector.

The new product launched by Biocontrol Technologies in Germany is RootDei Biocontrol®, a phytosanitary product designed to control Rhizoctornia solanii in potato crops (for more information, see this news article). The product received approval for use and commercialisation in the country in March, with further use extensions granted in April (details on the crops included in this extension can be found here).

During their participation at the DLG Feldtage fair, Biocontrol Technologies presented all updates regarding their potato cultivation product and attended several strategic meetings with industry leaders. The company consistently stressed its commitment to sustainability and agricultural progress through biological control solutions.
