Recognition of UB Chairs and classrooms

A space to reinforce collaboration between universities and companies

The event, chaired by the rector of the University of Barcelona, Joan Guardia, and the vice-rector for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Transfer, Mercè Segarra, served as a space to highlight the strategic role of the UB Chairs as a link between the university environment and the business world.

During the event, the importance of promoting joint projects that generate positive impact on society was highlighted. The participation of Biocontrol Technologies in this meeting reaffirms our commitment to science, training and technology transfer as drivers of a more sustainable agriculture.

Active collaboration and commitment to innovation

Biocontrol Technologies continues to collaborate actively with the University of Barcelona through the UB Biocontrol Technologies Chair of Microorganisms for Agriculture ( https://www.ub.edu/catedres/es/catedras/catedra-ub-biocontrol-technologies-de-microorganismos-para-la-agricultura ), an alliance that allows us to promote applied research, foster the development of biotechnological solutions and participate in initiatives that connect scientific knowledge with the needs of the agricultural sector.

This cooperation also allows us to contribute to the training of new professionals, support research work, and participate in outreach activities that reinforce scientific culture and commitment to sustainability.

Looking to the future

Biocontrol Technologies deeply values the recognition received by the University of Barcelona and renews its commitment to promote a more innovative, sustainable and knowledge-connected agriculture.

We will continue to strengthen our collaboration with the UB Biocontrol Technologies Chair of Microorganisms for Agriculture (https://biocontroltechnologies.com/catedra-ub/ ), convinced that the dialogue between science and business is key to face the challenges of the future in the agri-food sector.
