T34 Biocontrol® Efficacy in Solanaceous Crops

The official trials of T34 Biocontrol® in solanaceous crops,
compared against reference chemical treatments.
See for yourself.

  • 10 years of official GEP trials across seven countries
  • Always benchmarked against the reference chemical treatment
  • Experimental design, dosage rates, varieties, and statistical significance
The right question

Being sustainable isn’t enough. It has to be effective.

A professional grower cannot afford to lose productivity in exchange for adopting a more sustainable solution. If a product doesn’t control the disease, nothing else matters.

That’s why T34 Biocontrol® doesn’t rely on its biological origin as an argument. It demonstrates that it performs under real production conditions and holds up against what growers are already applying.

Preserving soil biological activity, reducing residue-related constraints, and moving toward safer protocols only make sense if yield is maintained.

We’re not asking you to trust that a biological product can work. We show you the trials — their design and their results.

  1. Seven official GEP trials conducted in Spain on tomato and pepper, with two doses of T34 Biocontrol® evaluated against the reference chemical treatment and an untreated control. The dossier presents the mean results by crop and across all seven trials, together with their statistical significance. SYNTECH RESEARCH · VALENCIA AND SEVILLE · 2013–2023
  2. The Botrytis cinerea trials in tomato evaluated the three plant organs separately. The dossier includes an individual graph for leaves, stems and fruit, showing the three T34 Biocontrol® doses tested and the results obtained for each organ. 8 OFFICIAL GEP TRIALS · GREENHOUSE · SPAIN, ITALY, GERMANY, HUNGARY AND THE NETHERLANDS
  3. Each graph includes the statistical grouping letters corresponding to each treatment. This allows you to identify which T34 Biocontrol® doses show statistically significant differences and compare them with the reference chemical treatment. MULTIPLE DOSES EVALUATED IN EACH TRIAL
  4. Each trial includes its experimental design sheet: variety, location, number of blocks and replicates, plot size, trial duration, planting density and application volume. This information allows you to assess how closely the experimental conditions compare with those on your farm. FULL TRIAL DETAILS IN EACH SECTION OF THE DOSSIER
  5. The dossier includes trials and publications on T34 Biocontrol® against pathogens for which its use is not yet authorised in Spain, including Fusarium oxysporum, Phytophthora capsici and Ralstonia solanacearum. They are presented for what they are: scientific evidence, not a recommendation for use. ALWAYS CHECK THE CURRENT REGISTRATION STATUS IN YOUR COUNTRY
  6. Each trial identifies the testing centre, country and year. The evidence includes trials conducted by independent centres under GEP standards, as well as studies by university research teams and peer-reviewed scientific publications. SYNTECH · EUROFINS · PROMO-VERT · SAGEA · U. OF BARCELONA · U. OF SEVILLE

All the answers are in the dossier. With the trial, testing centre and conditions clearly identified, so you can compare them with your own growing conditions.
