Visit to Greece.

Biocontrol Technologies collaborates with Farmachem to promote T34 Biocontrol® in northern Greece.

From 27 February to 1 March of this year, Martí Cardona, sales technician at Biocontrol Technologies, visited Greece to support theFarmaChem team in bolstering the presence of T34 Biocontrol in the Greek market. In partnership with Farmachem, the distributor of the phytosanitary product in the country, Martí toured the regions of Macedonia, Thrace and Thessaly.

This trip continued three years of efforts in the area, promotingT34 Biocontrol® product and expanding its accessibility to local producers. The main aim of this recent visit was to enhance the presence of the phytosanitary product, which is based on the T34 strain of the microorganism Trichoderma asperellum (link to the Trichoderma blog) for crops in northern Greece.

Alongside building stronger customer relationships, Martí Cardona also visited Farmachem ‘s headquarters in Thessaloniki. Here, he met with a segment of the Greek company’s team to tackle emerging challenges in the region.

One highlight of this trip was the chance to gain deeper insight into the Greek market and monitor efficacy trials in other crops of interest, such as kiwi, table grapes and fruit trees (refer to the list of authorised crops in Greece here).

These actions underscore Biocontrol Technologies dedication to the Greek market, highlighting the importance of ongoing collaboration with distributors like Farmachemto better understand producers and provide tailored solutions.

Biocontrol Technologies, a biotechnological company, thus reaffirms its commitment to the global expansion of T34 Biocontrol® and its contribution to sustainable agriculture worldwide by providing effective, natural and safe agricultural inputs.
