Extension of use in Poland

Biocontrol Technologies boosts agricultural sustainability in Poland with new approvals for its phytosanitary product Biocontrol T34®.

Biocontrol Technologies has announced a significant expansion in the use of its innovative crop protection product Biocontrol T34 in Poland, reaffirming its commitment to local farmers in the fight against agricultural diseases and the promotion of sustainable practices.

After receiving an extension of authorization in January 2025, the product, registered in Poland under no. R-43/2018 wu and approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development(https://www.gov.pl/attachment/3c5b0cf4-b78a-4fce-944b-1651c1d47427), will now be able to be applied on a wider range of crops and against key diseases in the open field:

In addition to these new applications, Biocontrol T34 is already recognized for its efficacy against other pathogens of agricultural relevance, such as Pythium spp. and Rhizoctonia spp. and has established itself as a versatile and environmentally friendly solution for various agricultural systems.

In Poland Agrosimex markets the product under the brand name Biocontrol T34 in both protected and outdoor crops. ASPERELLO is also marketed in protected crops by Biobest Poland.

In addition to the new licensed applications, Biocontrol T34 has a proven track record of efficacy against other relevant pathogens in a variety of crops. As of June 2020, the product is registered for minor open field uses against Fusarium spp. and Pythium spp. on a wide variety of crops, including:

Zucchini, zucchini for edible flowers, edible squash, squash for edible flowers, cucumber.
