New distribution agreement in the US: T34 Biocontrol ® enters the American market with Wilbur-Ellis Agribusiness
Biocontrol Technologies has signed a distribution agreement with Wilbur-Ellis Agribusiness, one of the largest agricultural distributors in the United States, to drive the commercialization of T34 Biocontrol® in the North American market. The agreement marks a strategic milestone in the company’s international expansion and reinforces its commitment to biological control solutions in sustainable agriculture.
Under the terms of the agreement, Wilbur-Ellis Agribusiness will distribute T34 Biocontrol® to U.S. growers, taking advantage of its extensive commercial network and technical expertise to support adoption of the product across key agricultural regions throughout the country.
T34 Biocontrol® is a fungicide, based on Trichoderma asperellum strain T34, a microorganism with proven capacity to colonize the rhizosphere, exert antagonism against soilborne and foliar fungal pathogens, that also activates the plant immune system. The product fits into Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs, reducing reliance on chemical conventional treatments and advancing toward a more sustainable agriculture. Biocontrol Technologies, founded in 2005, is present in most European countries, North Africa, South America and Canada.
Wilbur-Ellis Agribusiness, a family-owned company founded in 1921, operates more than 140 retail locations and serves growers across more than 20 U.S. states. With a significant presence across North America, the company works with growers to address the productivity, sustainability, and profitability challenges of modern agriculture.
This new agreement consolidates Biocontrol Technologies’ presence in North America and strengthens its global expansion strategy through partnerships with leading distributors in each market.
